Every once in a while, we come across an exceptional piece of lumber.  It is difficult to decide which design to utiize, but in this case, we built the Classical Guitar Wine Rack.  The wood is Birds' Eye Pine!  Have you ever seen Birds' Eye Pine or even heard of it???  I have never seen Birds' Eye Pine in 40 years of working with Pine!  I have seen Birds' Eye Maple and paid dearly for that beautiful grain pattern. 

It was a bit paradoxical to have this beautiful piece of wood and then cut holes in it. But there is still enough of the grain pattern that remains to make this unit rare and unique.  Perhaps it can be a special accent piece for your decor and wine display.
